Is it permissible for the women to dance in the wedding ceremonies especially (when) they are in front of the women only?

Question: The Noble Shaykh: Is it permissible for the women to dance in the wedding ceremonies especially (when) they are in front of the women only?

Answer: The dance is disliked. I was tolerant in it in the first place, but i asked several questions about events [that] happens at the time of the dance of the woman, so i saw the prevention from it. because some of the girls are lively, beautiful, and light [thin], and her dance [cause] women to be in love with her until it reached me that some of the women when something of this happens, she kiss the woman who dances and perhaps she brings her close to her chest, and in this takes place a clear trail [fitnah].

- الرقص مكروه، و كنت في أول الأمر أبساهل فيه  و لكن سئلت عدة أسئلة فن حوادث تقع في رقص المرأة، فرأيت المنع منه، لأن بعض الفتيات تكون رشيقة و جميلة و خفيفة و رقصها يفتن النساء بها حتي إنه بلغني أن بعض النساء إذا حصل مثل هذا تقوم تقبل المرأة التي ترقص و ربما تضمها إلى صدرها، و يحصل في هذا فتنة ظاهرة.
